Live Consultation Terms

1. Who can take live chats

• Your public page is approved and live, and your application for the AI programme, including the identity check, is approved.
• You live in India. Live chat starts with astrologers in India; we will say when that changes.
• You verified an Indian mobile number with a one-time code. We keep only that it was verified and its last two digits.
• You accepted these terms and set your per-minute prices.
• Live chat starts as a pilot with a limited number of astrologers. If the pilot is full, you can get ready and we will tell you when a place opens.

2. How a live chat works

• You press Go online on your dashboard when you are at your screen and ready, and Go offline when you stop. Keep the page open while you are online. If your page stops answering for about two minutes, you go offline by yourself.
• A client who has bought minutes with you asks for a chat. You accept or decline. Up to 5 clients can wait for you; a request you do not answer within 3 minutes lapses.
• Billing starts with your first message after you accept. If you send no message within 2 minutes, the chat ends and the client pays nothing.
• The client sees a running timer, the price per minute and the minutes left. Either of you can end the chat at any time. It also ends when the client's minutes run out, after 60 minutes, or when either side's connection drops.
• Minutes are billed per minute: a started minute counts only after its first 10 seconds. If your connection drops, or the chat is stopped by us, the unfinished minute is not billed.
• You type every reply yourself. No AI tool, assistant or other person may write or send replies for you in a live chat: clients are told they are chatting with you, a real astrologer.

3. Your prices

• You set one price per minute in rupees (between ₹10 and ₹200) and one in US dollars for clients outside India (between $0.25 and $3). The price includes GST.
• You can change your prices once every 30 days. A change applies only to minutes bought after it; minutes a client already bought keep their price.
• Your dashboard shows how a minute at your price is split: the price, the GST inside it, the net revenue, your 60% and our 40%.

4. Your service fee

• For each live consultation, Astro Meet pays you a service fee of 60% of the net revenue from the minutes you actually chatted. Net revenue is what clients paid for those minutes, minus GST and minus refunds and chargebacks. Payment gateway fees, hosting and support are ours.
• Minutes a client bought but did not use earn no fee. Clients may ask for unused minutes to be refunded within 7 days of buying them.
• Fees become payable 7 days after the chat. We pay monthly, by bank transfer, once your payable amount reaches ₹500 and you have given us your payout details. Payments of live fees start once their tax treatment has been confirmed by our chartered accountant; tax is deducted where the law requires it and shown on your statement.
• This fee is a contract term, not a promise of any income. We give you 30 days' notice of any change to it, and a change applies only to future chats.

5. Conduct

In a live chat you must not:

• predict death or lifespan; give a medical diagnosis, treatment or surgery dates; state a pregnancy as certain or the sex of an unborn child;
• give gambling, betting, lottery, stock or crypto tips, or guarantee a legal outcome;
• offer black magic, curse removal or vashikaran, present any remedy as a cure, or sell remedies, gems or pujas (traditional practices such as mantra, charity or fasting may be mentioned as optional, never as cures and never sold);
• promise outcomes or accuracy, pressure a client, or be rude, abusive or sexual.

If a client writes about self-harm or a crisis, reply kindly, share a helpline and do not give a reading. Do not ask a client for a phone number, email, payment app or link: messages with contact or payment details are not delivered in a live chat, so a chat booked through Astro Meet stays on Astro Meet. Outside live chats nothing changes: you may keep your own clients, and your page may show your contact details if you choose.

6. Transcripts, privacy and reports

• Each live chat is kept as a written transcript for 24 months after it ends, so you and the client can read it again. Both of you are told this at the start of the chat. Chats are not recorded in any other way.
• You see the client's first name only if they choose to share it, and their birth details only if they share them for that chat; the birth details disappear when the chat ends. Never copy them elsewhere or use them for anything but that consultation.
• Either of you can report a chat or block the other. A person on our team may read a reported chat to look into it; every such reading is logged.
• If you delete your account, your live chats are deleted, except a chat with an open report, which we keep for up to 30 days to finish looking into it.

7. Pausing and ending

• You can stop taking live chats at any time from your dashboard. Clients' unused minutes with you are then refunded to them.
• We may pause live chat for your account while we look into a report or a breach of these terms, and end it for a serious or repeated breach. We tell you why. Fees already earned are still paid unless they came from a breach that led to a refund.
• There is no exclusivity, no fee to join, no fine and no minimum number of hours.

8. Law and contact
