Privacy policy

Last updated

This policy covers kundlitalk.ai, which is run by ASTROZONE (OPC) Private Limited, Hassan, Karnataka, India (“we”).

The short version

  • Reading the site needs no account. The site sets no cookies and uses no analytics or advertising trackers (the one count we keep is a daily number of opens for each astrologer’s short link, described below), and guide pages store nothing in your browser.
  • Astrologers can create a free profile. For that we store your sign-in email and the profile you write. Your profile becomes public only after you submit it and we approve it.
  • Astrologers who apply to train their own AI skill also give us a few private application details and talk to an AI interviewer. Those answers are processed by our AI provider and train only that astrologer’s own assistant.
  • Clients who ask an astrologer’s AI assistant a question give us their birth details and the question; we keep them in their own account, visible only to them unless they share a chat with that astrologer. The question and chart data go to our AI provider to write the answer.
  • You can download everything we hold about you, or delete your account, at any time from your dashboard (astrologers) or from your account (clients).
  • The free tools work out their results in your browser: what you type into them is never sent to us.
  • We do not sell personal data. We share it only with the service providers named on this page, to run the site.

Free tools

The calculators under Free tools run entirely on the page in your browser. The birth details you type are not sent to us or to anyone else, are not saved on your device, and are not added to the page address, so they are gone when you close or reload the page. Pages with a calculator load the scripts that run it, all from this site. Every public page, guides, free tools and public profiles included, also loads one small script from this site that only reads your language choice, to show the menus in that language; it stores nothing and sends nothing about you. If you chose a language, it loads that language’s words from this site. The astrologer sign-in, dashboard and review pages and public profile pages load the scripts described under “Astrologer accounts and profiles” below.

Your language choice. If you choose a language on our language page, the choice stays in this browser unless you sign in, and it holds nothing else about you. If you are an astrologer, we keep it with your profile (see “Your language” below). When you sign in, the language you chose tells Google which language to send the sign-in email in.

Hosting and server logs

The site is served by Google’s Firebase Hosting. Like any web host, it processes your IP address and request details (such as the page requested, browser type and time) to deliver pages and protect the service. We do not use this information to identify visitors.

Astrologer accounts and profiles

If you create a profile, this is what we hold and why:

  • Your sign-in. Your email address, and your name as your Google account shares it if you sign in with Google, held by Firebase Authentication (Google). We never ask you for a password: you sign in with Google or with a one-time link we email you.
  • Your profile. What you type into the editor (name, link name, bio, experience, methods, specialities, languages, consultation modes, links, optional city and country, and any contact details), your photo and logo, and the date you agreed to publish it. It is stored in Cloud Firestore (Google) in India (Mumbai region).
  • Review records. The status of your profile, review notes, and who reviewed it and when.
  • Your dashboard. The products you draft (type, title, description and prices), the short links you make with their labels, and the daily count of opens for each link. If you build a product’s method, also the rules you confirm, your product interview with the AI, the sample answers it writes on fictional test charts, your method summary and the review team’s decisions; the method of an approved product and its summary are shown on your page as the product.

Who sees it. The KundliTalk review team can read your profile, including contact details you chose to hide, so they can review it. After approval, your profile appears at your link and as a card in the KundliTalk astrologer directory (photo, name, specialities, languages, systems and years of practice; never your contact details). The public page shows your profile but not your sign-in email, and shows your WhatsApp, phone and contact email only if you ticked “show these contact details”. Public profile pages that are complete may appear in search engines. Public pages are produced by Cloud Functions for Firebase (Google).

On this device. On the sign-in, dashboard and review pages only, the sign-in service keeps you signed in using your browser’s storage, and if you ask for an email link we remember the address in this browser until you use the link. These pages also load Google’s sign-in script and talk to Google’s sign-in and database services, so Google sees your IP address there; signing in with Google happens on Google’s own page. Nothing is stored by the guide pages. Public profile pages also load the small language script described under “Free tools”, which only reads your language choice.

While you fill in your page, this browser also keeps work that has not reached us yet, so a poor connection loses nothing: page details, your photo until it is sent, an interview answer you have not sent and edits to your skill document. Each is removed once it is saved, and all of it when you sign out or someone else signs in here. Your legal name, phone number and ID or selfie images are never kept in the browser.

How long. Until you delete your account. Deleting it from your dashboard removes your sign-in, profile, photo and logo, products, short links and their counts at once, with your products’ methods (withdrawing your AI assistant licence also deletes those methods at once); your public page disappears within a few minutes (pages are cached briefly). If your page was ever public, its link name (for example/a/your-name) stays reserved, with no other data, so nobody else can take over a link you shared. Profiles we hide for breaking our rules are kept until their owner deletes them or asks us to.

Astrologers can make short links to their page (kundlitalk.ai/s/…) to share on YouTube, Instagram or WhatsApp. When someone opens one, our code adds one to that link’s count for the day, and that number is all we keep: we do not store who opened it, and we set no cookie. The astrologer sees the daily counts, which include link previews and search-engine bots. Like every page, the request passes through our hosting and Cloud Functions, whose request logs include the IP address and browser and are kept for up to 30 days, as described under “Hosting and server logs”; we use them only to run and protect the service.

Astrologer applications and AI interviews

Astrologers can apply to train their own AI skill. Applying is separate from the profile, and you agree to it separately: to the Astrologer Terms, and to the AI assistant licence when you submit. If you apply, this is what we hold and why:

  • Your application. Your full legal name and a private phone number (to know who we work with and, later, to pay you; we have not verified phone numbers yet and will before a first live consultation or payout), how you learned astrology, whether and where you consult today, your interest in live consultations, an optional link to your practice, how you heard of us, a sample answer, your 18+ declaration, and the dates you gave or withdrew each consent.
  • Identity check (AI programme only, with its own consent). A photo of you holding a one-time code and one or two photos of a government photo ID: your passport, or a photo ID your country issues (in India a PAN card, voter ID, driving licence, passport or a masked Aadhaar). You hide some numbers before the photo: the first 8 digits of an Aadhaar, a Singapore NRIC or FIN number except its last 3 digits and letter, and a Dutch citizen service number (BSN); we do not accept German ID cards yet. We never ask for a US Social Security number, a Canadian Social Insurance Number, an Australian tax file or Medicare number or a UK National Insurance number. We also ask which country you live in, because paid work starts with astrologers living in India; if you live in a Gulf country we ask you to confirm you have checked the local rules. Our AI provider reads the ID to check that it is readable and in date, that the name matches your legal name and that you are 18 or over, and reads the code in your photo; it never compares, identifies or describes faces. A person at KundliTalk compares the photos. From the ID we keep only the document type, the country, the last 4 characters, whether the name matched, whether you are 18 or over and whether it was in date, never the full number and never your date of birth. If a number you were asked to hide is readable, or the document is one we do not accept, we delete the image at once. The images are deleted 30 days after we decide, or after 90 days without activity on a draft.
  • Certificates, awards and sample work if you add them (our AI provider reads them for the holder’s name and for client details left in). Certificates are kept while your AI assistant is live and deleted 30 days after a decision not to approve or when you withdraw your licence; sample work is deleted 30 days after any decision. Media links you give us are checked only against YouTube’s public video titles.
  • The AI interview and your skill document. Your answers to the AI interviewer, the skill document drafted from them, your edits, and test answers produced from it. We use them only to build and review your own AI assistant, never anyone else’s and never to train a general AI model.
  • Usage counts. How many interview messages you sent today and in total, so we can keep the service fair.

Who processes it. Interview answers, your skill document and your profile’s methods, specialities, languages and years of practice are sent to our AI provider, Anthropic (USA), to run the interviewer and draft your document. For the identity check and the review report it also receives your ID photos, your code photo, your certificates and sample work, and your legal name (only to compare it with the documents). We never send it your email or phone number. Under its commercial terms Anthropic does not use these inputs to train its models and keeps them only for a limited period. Decision emails about your application are sent through Resend (USA), which receives your sign-in email address and the message. The review team gets a daily email listing waiting applications by display name only. Everything else stays in Cloud Firestore (Google) in India. Please do not include your clients’ names, birth details or anything that identifies them in the interview.

Your language. If you choose a language other than English, we keep that choice with your profile, so that our emails to you can use it. If you ask to read your skill document or test answers in your language, they are sent to the same AI provider to be translated, and the translation is kept with your skill document until it changes or is deleted.

How long. Until you delete it. You can delete your interview and skill document at any time from your Account page, withdraw your AI assistant licence from your Review status page (your interview, skill document and any approved assistant are then deleted at once, and from backups within 30 days), or delete your whole account. If an application is declined or withdrawn and you do not apply again, we clear your legal name, phone number, sample answer, interview and skill document 90 days later and keep only the dates and the decision. When you delete your account we keep a record that the account was deleted, with no personal data, for a week, so that no one can reuse it meanwhile.

If you are an astrologer in the EU, the EEA, the UK or Switzerland. We hold your account, profile and application to provide the service you sign up for (our contract with you), and we run the identity check only on your consent, which you can withdraw before our decision (the images are then deleted). Your details are stored in India and the identity documents are read by our AI provider in the USA as described above. You have the rights to access, correct, delete and export your data, to object or withdraw consent, and to complain to your local data protection authority. Write to contact@astro-meet.com.

Client accounts

If you open a client account, this is what we hold and why:

  • Your sign-in. Your email address (and your name, if you sign in with Google and Google shares it), held by Firebase Authentication (Google). We never ask for a password.
  • Your confirmations. That you are 18 or over (and, before a first question to an AI assistant, that you understand it is an AI), and, for another person’s birth details, whether you have their permission or are their parent or guardian, each with the date and the version of the words you confirmed.
  • Birth details. The date, time (or that it is not known) and place of birth you enter, for you or, with their permission or as their parent or guardian, for another person, with a first name or label only you see. We use them only to work out the chart for the questions you ask. You can delete any of them at any time; another person’s details are also deleted with the chats that use them.
  • Activity dates. When you created your account and when you last used it.

Where and how long. In Cloud Firestore (Google) in India, readable only by you (and by our server), until you delete it. The astrologer never sees your account or birth details (see what a shared chat shows, below). From your account you can download a copy of all of it or delete it at once; if the same sign-in is also an astrologer account, deleting your client account keeps that astrologer account. When the sign-in itself is deleted we keep a record that the account was deleted, with no personal data, for a week.

Clients asking an AI assistant

Questions are asked on the question page, which you open from a reading on an astrologer’s page.

  • What we keep. Each chat: the astrologer and reading you chose, the birth details used, a short chart summary (ascendant, Moon sign, birth star), your question, the answer and the chart facts it used, and the chart data we calculated for it (kept with the chat, used only for it). Counts of free questions used, so each AI gives one free question and an account at most three.
  • Who processes it. The chart is calculated by our own calculation service, hosted on Google Cloud in Belgium, from the date, time and place of birth. Your question, that chart data and the astrologer’s approved method go to our AI provider, Anthropic (USA), to write the answer. We do not add your name, email or payment details; please do not put names or other private details in your question. Under its commercial terms Anthropic does not use these inputs to train its models and keeps them only for a limited period.
  • What the astrologer sees. Counts and topic categories; anonymised samples of answers their AI gave (the answer only, never your question, name, email or birth details; an answer is held back when our check finds something from your question or birth details in it); and a chat only if you choose to share it with them, which you can undo at any time.
  • Reports. If you report an answer, a person on our team reads that question and answer to decide it.
  • How long. Until you delete the chat or your account. Chats are deleted after 24 months without any activity on your account; reports are deleted a year after they are decided. Limits on how often a network can ask are counted in memory only and never stored.

If you are in the EU, the EEA or the UK. We process your details to provide the answers you ask for (to perform our service to you) and, for another person’s details, on the permission you confirm. They are stored in India and processed in Belgium and the USA as described above. You have the rights to access, correct, delete and export your data, to object or withdraw consent, and to complain to your local data protection authority. Write to contact@astro-meet.com.

Channel badges and name checks

Channel badges (optional). If you ask us to confirm your YouTube channel, Instagram profile or website, we give you a one-time code to place there and then look for it: on YouTube through YouTube’s official API, on your website by reading your home page or the file /.well-known/astro-meet.txt, and on Instagram by a person on our team who opens your public profile once. We keep the code, the channel’s address, handle and audience size, and the dates of each check, and we look again once a year. The badge on your page shows the platform, the handle and the month; it says you control the channel, not who you are.

Name checks. Before a profile is published, and again from time to time, we compare its name and link name with public YouTube channel listings (through YouTube’s official API), and its photo with those channels’ pictures and other KundliTalk profiles’ photos, to stop people pretending to be someone well known. For photos we keep a short picture fingerprint (a 64-bit summary of the image’s light and dark areas), not a face template: it finds copies of the same picture and is not face recognition. A close match puts the profile on hold until a person on our team checks it. Channel titles and audience sizes we read from YouTube are refreshed or deleted within 30 days; a confirmed channel’s handle is kept as part of the badge record. All of this is deleted with your account, except the review team’s decision records (your account id, your page’s link name, who decided, why, and their notes), which we keep to show how each decision was made, and a name the review team has held by hand to stop impersonation (the name and why it is held).

These checks use YouTube API Services: see the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.

Payments, invoices and payouts

Paid AI consultations are sold by ASTROZONE (OPC) Private Limited. Checkout opens after our payment provider finishes reviewing this website. When you pay, Razorpay (Razorpay Software Private Limited, India) processes the payment: you enter your card, UPI or bank details on Razorpay’s own payment window, and we never see or store them. Razorpay tells our systems the result (the payment number, amount, method type and whether it was international); its notifications reach the company’s systems for all of its websites. We keep, for each order: what you bought, the price, your sign-in email, the billing country (and, in India, the state, which decides the GST on your invoice), the policy versions you accepted and the GST invoice. Tax law requires us to keep invoices and payment records for 8 years, so deleting your account replaces your email on old orders with “deleted account” but keeps the issued invoice, including the email it was issued to. Refund requests and their reasons are kept with the order, and are part of the copy of your data you can download.

Astrologers who are owed at least ₹500 give us payout details (name as on the PAN card, PAN, bank account and IFSC or a UPI ID, postal address, GSTIN if they have one). They are stored encrypted, shown in full only to our payout team, and used only to pay them and to deduct and report tax at source. Bank and UPI details and the postal address are deleted 90 days after a final payout; PAN, legal name and tax records are kept for 8 years.

Live chat with astrologers

Live chat opens when payments open on KundliTalk. When you chat live with an astrologer, we keep the chat (your messages, the astrologer’s replies and the times) as a transcript that you and the astrologer can read for 24 months after the chat ends (clients on their live chats page); then it is deleted. Messages containing phone numbers, email addresses, payment details or links are not delivered or stored; a short note that a message was held back is kept instead. A person on our team reads a whole chat only if you or the astrologer report it, and every such reading is recorded.

Safety check. Every live-chat message is checked before it is delivered, to keep chats free of fear-selling, false promises, abuse, sexual content, requests to pay or meet outside KundliTalk and advice our rules forbid. The message, up to 6 earlier lines of the same chat, whether it was written by the client or the astrologer and how many minutes the chat has run go to our AI provider, Anthropic (USA), which labels it; after every 12 or so delivered messages the latest part of the chat (at most 40 lines) is checked again in one go, the same way. We do not send names, account ids, email addresses or phone numbers, but anything personal typed into a message reaches it too. Under its commercial terms Anthropic does not use these inputs to train its models and keeps them only for a limited period. Our software, not the AI, decides what happens: the message is delivered, delivered with a reminder to its writer, held (never delivered; both sides see a note that a message was held) or, for a serious breach, the chat ends. A held message, a chat ended by the check and any report go to our review queue: a person on our team sees the flagged message and up to 6 earlier lines with numbers and contact details masked, never the whole chat unless it was reported. That text is removed 90 days after the review and the rest of the review record (category, decision, note) a year after it, unless it is still the reason for a pause; the count of a person’s held messages stays with their account until it is deleted. Repeated breaches pause live chat for that account until a person reviews them. If the check is not working, live chat pauses and open chats end without billing the unfinished minute.

The astrologer sees your first name only if you tick “share my first name” (otherwise you appear as “Client”) and the birth details you choose to share for that one chat; those birth details are removed from the chat when it ends. The astrologer never sees your email address or account details. We keep the minutes you bought with each astrologer, what each chat billed, and the order numbers, so that we can bill fairly and handle refunds.

Astrologers who take live chats verify an Indian mobile number once with an SMS code sent by Firebase Authentication (Google); that page uses Google reCAPTCHA, which may set Google’s own cookies on that page only. We keep only that the number was verified and its last two digits, and we remove the number from the account straight away, so it is never used to sign in. While an astrologer is online, their dashboard tells our servers every 20 seconds that they are still there; on each astrologer’s page and in the directory we show whether they are online, from a short summary that our servers cache for 15 seconds and that reads nothing about you.

If you delete your account, your live chats are deleted too (a chat with an open report is kept, without your name, for at most 30 days while it is looked into), any chat still running is ended and billed, and your unused paid minutes are refunded. Refund records keep your account id and the order number until 90 days after the refund is decided.

Email

If you write to contact@astro-meet.com, the message is forwarded by Cloudflare Email Routing to our company mailbox, which Google hosts. We use your address and message only to reply and to act on what you tell us, and delete correspondence we no longer need. Sign-in links are sent by Firebase Authentication. Emails about an astrologer application come from noreply@astro-meet.com through Resend.

Links to other sites

Some guides link to other websites, including our sister site and public fraud-reporting services. Those sites have their own privacy policies.

Children

This site is meant for adults. Astrologer profiles and client accounts are for people aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children, except the birth details (and an optional first name) a parent or guardian enters to ask about their child, which stay in the parent’s account and are deleted with it.

Your rights

Under Indian law, including the Information Technology Act and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, you can ask us for a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how we use it, have it corrected, completed or updated, have it deleted, and withdraw a consent you gave us. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it and does not affect what we did before; we may then be unable to continue a service that needs that data. You can also name another person to use these rights for you if you die or cannot act yourself.

Astrologers can do most of this themselves: edit the profile, download a copy of their data, or delete the account from the dashboard. Clients can download or delete their data on their account page. For anything else, write to our Grievance Officer at contact@astro-meet.com; we answer within the timelines on our grievance redressal page. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

Policies and grievances

Our other policies, with their versions and dates, are listed on policies and terms. For a privacy complaint, write to our Grievance Officer (see grievance redressal).

Changes

If we add anything that changes this picture, such as analytics, we will update this page and the date at the top before it goes live.
